Brackets Copy / Move a team to a different Tournament

In the event you need to copy or move a team's registration from your tournament to a different tournament within your website (in the same season), navigate to Brackets —> Manage Teams —> Move or Copy Team.

  1. Choose the Team's Group from the Group Name drop-down
  2. Select the Team you are copying or moving to another tournament
  3. Enter an optional Note / Reason for the Move/Copy
  4. Select the New Tournament the team will be copied or moved to
  5. Choose the Destination Group the team will be playing in
  6. "Copy" or "Move" the team. (Explanation below)

* Copy will keep the team in the Original/Source Tournament while adding the team to the new "destination" Tournament.

** Move will take the team's registration out of the original/source tournament and place it in the new "destination" tournament. A team with scheduled games, payments or hotel room blocks cannot be moved to another tournament (only copied).


What is included in the Copy?

  1. All Team Admins and their contact information
  2. All non-admins contacts i.e. Parent Names and contact information
  3. Team Logo
  4. Any players or coaches added through the team LINEUP Tool.
  5. Uploaded documents containing the word "Roster" or "Lineup"
  6. Answers to registration form's custom questions.

What is not included in the Copy?

  1. Team Fees or Payments
  2. Hotel Reservations
  3. Scheduled games
  4. Uploaded Travel Permits or non-roster documents

Move/Copy History

Once you have completed the team copy or successfully moved the team, the transaction will appear in the history at the bottom of the page.

Email Notification: The listed tournament director of the destination tournament will receive an email notification with team / group information.
