Brackets Email Settings
Initial Configuration -->Email Settings
Brackets utilizes email notifications throughout the registration process as well as the primary communication method to teams. Notifications are sent to the teams when their team's registration status changes, when payments are made and/or verified, and when the tournament organizers choose to use the bulk email options available within Brackets.
To add/update your email addresses, double-click on the line with your tournament's name.
The Email Settings window will open,
Email from Name: This is the name of your tournament. When the email is sent to the team admin(s) this name will appear as the display name in their email. Leaving this cell blank is recommended as it will automatically use the name of your tournament.
Email From Address: When a team admin replies to the Brackets generated email, which email address will receive the correspondence. One single email address only.
Send Registration-Related Notifications To: When a new team registers, who on your committee will receive email notifications? This can be multiple email addresses provided they are all separated by a comma. Example youremail@gmail.com,treasurer@gmail.com
Send Payment-Related Notifications To: When a team indicates to Brackets they are sending you a cheque or e-transfer payment, who on your committee will receive email notifications? This can be multiple email addresses provided they are all separated by a comma.
Send Upload-Related Notifications To: When a team uploads a document (ie Team Roster) to Brackets who on your committee will receive email notifications? This can be multiple email addresses provided they are all separated by a comma.
Automated Emails:
Brackets sends automated email reminders to team admins for payments, Uploads and Hotel Room bookings (when SportsHeadz Concierge is being used)
Automated emails are sent periodically. The frequency of these emails can be changed from our default setting to:
"Relaxed" = send less frequent
“Urgent” = send more often
“Disabled” = don't send. (not recommended)
