Online Libraries

Libraires are a great tool to use to store documents in your website. There are 2 steps to using libraries. The first is creating the library itself. The second is adding it into the website.

Creating/Editing Libraries

Navigate to Content - Advanced Features - Online Libraries. Click on View List/Add New.

Existing libraries will be listed here. To add a new library, click Add Library.

Fill in your information and hit Insert.

Your library will now be listed on the main page. You can Edit the library here by double clicking it. You can delete any library by hovering over it and clicking the trash can on the far right.

You now need to add documents into your library. Go into Manage Libraries and click on the library.

Click Add Item to Library.

Choose a name for your document and Select File to upload it from your computer.

Click the Upload button. Click Add Files or drag and drop. You can add multiple files at once by holding down the control button. Click Start Upload. Click on your file and hit Insert.

Hit Insert again. You will now see the documents you have uploaded into this library. You can continue to add more. You can always delete documents by hovering and clicking the trash can.

You aren't done yet! You now need to add your library to display on the website. There are a few ways you can do this.

Adding Library To The Website

1) You can add it into your main navigation. Navigate to Site Pages Menu - Add New Page.

Page Type will be Online Library or Online Library Item depending on what you are looking to link to.

Select and hit Insert.

You could do this as a link as well. (Internal or External.) You can link to www.yourdomain.com/libraries to show ALL of your libraries.

We also have a Library widget you can add into your homepage. You need to be in a custom design to do this. To add this in, simply choose the Online Library widget.

The settings for the widget are controlled in the Manage Settings area.
