URL Redirections

This page allows you to create "shortcut" urls which can redirect to a longer url in your site. If the "Url To Match" is contained anywhere within the incoming url, the "Redirect To" will be used.

In addition, your site can have alternative domain names which can redirect to the home page or to a specific team or tournament sub-site. If this happens you will also need to contact SportsHeadz to ensure that the server is listening for incoming requests to the other domain name.

TIP: The "URL to Match" part needs to not start with https. Just the domain. See the first example: demo.mbsportsweb.ca

The URL Redirection table is cached to avoid unnecessary database queries. If you want your changes to be applied immediately you need to click "Click this link" in the bottom right of the page.
